Rehab and Performance Specialist
Andrew Farley
Andrew specialises in supporting individuals in a few key areas. He works closely with people who are looking to improve their body composition by building muscle and losing body fat. Andrew also assists those seeking to enhance their athletic performance, with a particular focus on training for Hyrox competitions. Additionally, he enjoys helping people who are rehabilitating from an injury get back to their best health and fitness levels. By drawing on his extensive exercise science education and personal athletic experience, Andrew is able to provide tailored guidance and programming to meet clients' goals, whether that's fat loss, strength gains or rehab. His diverse specialty areas allow him to help a wide range of active individuals looking to optimise their physical abilities.
Background in sport:
Andrew has always played a wide variety of sports for most of his life ranging from tennis to rowing. His current passions include playing 15's contact rugby, touch rugby and more recently competing in Hyrox! Growing up, Andrew was very active and enjoyed the challenge of different sports. He loves the competitiveness of rugby and the camaraderie of being on a team. While he has dabbled in many activities over the years, Andrew's real loves are any version of rugby where he can showcase his skills on the pitch. He has also recently taken up Hyrox, which allows him to challenge himself physically in a new way. Sports will always be an important part of Andrew's life, keeping him active and engaging his competitive spirit.
Why be a trainer:
Andrew has always been interested in health and fitness. He used to love learning about exercise and training in order to help his various sporting goals, and he even pursued exercise science as his academic subject in university. Fitness and nutrition are now an integral part of Andrew's daily life. He has a real passion for helping others find the same love of healthy living that he has found for himself.
Andrew wants to pass on the knowledge he's gained over the years about training, injury prevention, and proper nutrition. His goal is to help people live fuller, more capable lives by empowering them to take control of their physical and mental wellbeing through fitness. After having seen firsthand how significantly one's lifestyle can impact their abilities on the athletic field or simply in daily activities, Andrew is motivated to share what he knows so that others may reap the benefits as well. Making health and fitness accessible and enjoyable for all is what drives Andrew in this next phase of his career.
